So I wanted to just say hello to everyone who actually read our blog and say that I have missed you! So we finally have some good news! No....I am not pregnant! Dave found a job!!!! He is going to be working for a company called @task! He is going to be a corporate trainer...and he is soooo excited. They seem like a REALLY amazing company and we are both happy that I will get to be home a lot more with Blake! We are so grateful for everyone's prayers and concern for us during the past year of struggling with not being able to find a job and me being a total cranky pants because I always had to be at work. We love our family and friends so much and are so grateful for everything and everyone Heavenly Father has blessed us with!
On another note. I wanted to vent about something else too. I am torn because Dave and I have officially been trying to have another baby, which is awesome. But I am not totally sure that I am ready. I have recently started to REALLY enjoy working out more and more and have been getting really into it. (I know, I know, about a year too late) I want to lose some more weight before I get pregnant again, but I can't decided if that is selfish of me or not. I just thought I would get some feed back from my family and friends on what they would do. Sorry this has been kind of a boring post, but that is what is going on with us lately! I will post some picture of our ridiculously cute kid later today!

I am SO happy for you that you can stay home with Blake more and Dave has a great job. Wonderful!
About the baby thing...um...welcome to my life! We are in the exact same boat. I want to lose weight before getting pregnant too. Mostly because I want to be at a healthier weight when I get pregnant so my pregnancy will be easier and the baby will have a better chance of being healthy. I do not think it's selfish to want to get in shape before getting pregnant. I think it's all what you're feeling in your heart. :) I would try while you workout... then if it happens it happens and if not, you're still workin' out!
Good luck to you, babe. I hope we both get pregnant together and it'll be so fun!
Yay for new jobs! That is awesome!
As for the working out thing, I say, get started on the working out, then maybe start trying in a couple of months. That way you get a start on the exercise, but will still get pregnant relatively soon. AND you can keep working out, to a certain extent, while you are pregnant. Good luck!
First... Yaaa, on the new job Dave! What a wonderful blessing. Shawn and I have been thinking about you guys lots and he will be so excited too to hear that Dave got a good job! Now you can be home more and Blake can get to know his new girlfriend. (Still on the way).
I DON"T think for a second that holding off on another kiddo is bad or selfish!!! I personaly think it's important for mom and dad to be ready to add another person to the family. Now if you happened to get knocked up Wonderful. As for doing the whole trying to get preggers. Give it time. Be ready. What's a few months or even a year in the the big picture. You guys know what's right for you. No matter what the reasons. All you have to do is decide and we'll all be behind ya 100%. Lots of love!!!
Let me know if you need anything.
I'm so happy Dave found a good job! That's awesome!
i wrote you a comment before but apparently it didn't show so i'm not going to re-say what i said before. wait until may, though. wait until may.
I am so happy that Dave got a job and you can be home with little Blake, thats so awesome!!!
Andrea I'm not sure I've ever told you this, but i really really love you!! You're so awesome. We really should all hang out more often. And p.s. you are tiny. I know how you feel though. I'm sooooooo excited for you guys. I hope his job works out well. It sounds like a great job. You are so great!!!! we'll keep you guys in our prayers.
I am so happy for you guys. I am excited that you get to stay home with your cute kid. I will say that you should still keep your job a couple of shifts a week. I have found that I love going in when I have had a rough day or a little extra cash is needed. It is a lot different when you dont have to and you choose when you want to. As for the baby thing...I was never really ready anytime I managed to get myself knocked up. It will happen when the time is right.
Good for Dave!! Thats got to be a burden lifted! Hey, just letting you know, we are gonna make our blog private. If you wouldn't mind leaving me your email, that would be awesome!
And too bad, I thought you were going to say you were expecting...you have such a cute little guy- I would love to see waht Garber #2 will look like!
Yay Dave!! I am SO happy for you guys with this exciting news.
And as for the working out thing - I think it's good to really feel ready when you are trying to have a baby. In the long run a month or two won't make a big difference. But mostly just go with how you are feeling inside. You are an awesome woman and will know what is best for you and your family. In the meantime, I am loving having you as a workout buddie! We'll get these Turbo moves down one of these days!!
