The 4th of July

We had so much fun this fourth of July. In the morning we went down to Dave's mom's house for breakfast. It was really yummy. Then we went to the Provo parade and watched that for a while. Blake was definitely not a huge fan of all of the loud sirens that the fire trucks and police cars made. It was kind of funny and kind of sad all at the same time. He wouldn't full out cry he would just make a sad frowny face and look up at me.
Later we headed up to my parents house for a bbq. It also was very yummy and then we were off to a Bees game. It was Blake's first official baseball game. I only wish that it could have been a Cubs game instead, but that's okay. He loved just looking around and spent most of the game just sitting on Grandpas lap. About half way through the game Blake got really hot so we decided to let him be a little white trash baby with his shirt off. He thought it was pretty cool I think. We liked it at least. After the game they had fireworks. Blake actually really liked them. I thought that he would freak out way more than he did. He just jumped a bit when the really loud ones came. All in all it was a really fun day spent with our awesome families.

That sounds like a fun 4th! I love it when they will just sit on Grandpa's lap. Blake is so cute and growing up so fast!
