Is it ALL going to fall out???
So...I don't really have anything of real importance to blog about except for the fact that I am getting REALLY worried about my ridiculous amount of hair loss. I know that women are suppose to lose some of their hair after they have their babies, but I feel like enough is enough. It has been falling out for almost five months now, with no signs of letting up. Not to totally gross anyone out, but it falls out in massive chunks every time I take a shower, brush my hair, dry my hair, or let's face it even touch my hair the wrong way. It's in the shower, the sinks, the carpet, the laundry. It's everywhere!! I just wanted to see if anyone else has had the same experience or knows if this is normal. Is there something I can be doing to prevent it?? I feel like by the end of the year I am not going to have anymore hair left. Please help.

Just be glad you don't have already thin hair like I do AND have it fall out. Although, mine's getting a bit better. Not as big of chunks falling out anymore, and there are sweet little hairs sticking out everywhere all over my head. I have baby bangs again too.... one word: HOT!
I lost of ton of hair after I had Jake. After taking a shower and blowdrying my hair, I could have made a doll out of all the leftover hair! (is that gross?) I wasn't too sad because it felt like I didn't loose any hair my entire pregnancy. My hair was out of control! I needed to loose some!
Oh Andrea, I hope it stops. That is seriously such a pain in the butt. And for 5 months?! Oh my word, that would be driving me crazy.
Try prenatals again. The folic acid might help. Actually I think you have beautiful hair!!!
Just so you know that during pregnancy you really don't lose the amount of hair that you should when you are not pregnant. If I remember correctly, and please tell me if this is wrong, but it is normal to lose 50-100 hairs a day. Because you don't lose it during pregnancy it needs to catch up after the baby comes. It will get back to normal. It is different for everyone as to when that "normal" time comes. Just FYI.
It happens to the best of us, don't worry- it will stop. I remember just dreading having to blow dry my hair because I would have to vacuum it up and usually lint rolling the towels, my clothes and sometimes Jason. I know it sucks, but hang in there...you have a BEAUTIFUL little Blake to thank for it...ain't he worth it though? :)
I really wish we were hanging out with you guys and all your friends. I'm sitting here updating my blog.... AGAIN. You should really invite us next time, though. I seriously need some friends and people to hang out with. And then when I get friends, hopefully one day, I'll invite you guys to hang out with US! We can share friends and have LOTS of them, everywhere.
Andrea, dear, I feel ya! I'm gonna try taking some prenatal vitamins again and see if that helps. Thanks for the stuff from Target again. You really are such a peach!
You'll be okay. You were getting lots of vitamins with prenatals then you stopped and pumped. Drianing you of all your nutriance. Your body is just trying to catch up. No worries. You wont go bald. It's just the natural course of things. If you want to go back on your prenatals it wouldn't hurt.
I tagged you. Go to my blog and copy it.
Yea! I found your blog! It's adorable. Maybe you could come over and make my blog cute someday. Sorry about the hair loss problem. But I think you'll still be beautiful when you're bald:)
maybe you should consider updating your blog... i dunno though... just a thought.
